Madison Horticultural Technician
Looking for a dynamic role where you don’t have to be behind a desk all day? Dive into a role where plants and people thrive! Interiorscapes, an interior plant services company, is hiring a Horticulture Technician. This position lets you grow horticulture skills, customer relationships, brighten workspaces all while being physically active.
Responsibilities
- Care for plants in office, hotel, & medical settings using established horticultural practices
- Maintain customer relationships at each account, resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Communicate daily via email and texts with office and teammates
- Complete daily paperwork using company provided phone
- Perform work safely and deliver service that is consistent with Interiorscapes mission
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Clean driving record, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required (possibly a company vehicle)
- Comfortability driving distances and in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and work on feet all day
- Ability to perform work on ladders as needed
- Background checks & drug screening as required by client sites
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A desire to have a green thumb!
Job Type
Part Time – 20 hours per week
Salary
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on any experience)
