The job consisted first with a conceptual vision of what to transform it into. Since the Ficus trees were so over grown, the idea of putting something more narrow and upright would have a cleaner and fresh look. Incorporating some natural elements that are found through out Wisconsin like lannon stone gives a realistic look as well as accents of grasses spread through out. The contact we worked with wanted modern. There were a few other areas that needed some sprucing up with some color. The artificial agave next to the bench and the 3 group planting in the alcove. What’s more modern than cactus’s and ferns staged in edgy ceramic containers?
