I-Plants Magazine, a division of Air Strength Canada, released the winners of its International Design Contest on July 8th, 2021. The Biophilic Design Awards contest runs annually starting with acceptance of entries in April, judged from May to June, and are open to companies all over the world in the interior landscaping industry, as well to suppliers of the interior landscaping industry.

This year’s entries were judged by a panel of three biophilic design experts-Sonja Bochart, IIDA, LEED AP BD&C, WELL AP, LFA Regenerative Design, Sustainability and Biophilia Consulting,  Richard V. Piacentini, President and CEO Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and Janice Goodman, President Cityscapes, Inc. All entries were judged on the uniqueness and innovation of their, design, innovative use of materials, appropriateness for the space, and satisfaction of the client.
