The customer purchased a custom living wall frame – custom so that their logo would stand off in the center. This wall however did not come with drip irrigation or any watering feature and required the plants to be direct planted. What this means is each little bucket holds a single plant and each little bucket needs to be watered one by one. (318) 6″ plants were direct planted in this living wall system. That’s a lot of plants and a lot of service time!

Working together, Interiorscapes was able to advise how drip irrigation would benefit the plants health and maintenance and how the system should ultimately work.

The office facilities folks will retrofit the system to have drip irrigation and shave off maintenance time, giving the plants plenty of water on off days and our technician more time in the day to service other accounts.

Plants included in this wall are: Austral Gem Ferns, Cordatum, Spathiphyllum ‘Petite’, Aglaonema ‘Osaka’ and Neon Pothos
